When people ask me what I ‘do’, my answer is usually “what day of the week?”. I work part-time as an academic learning advisor at Whitireia NZ, I am a part-time PhD student with the University of Auckland, I am involved in Playcentre and the National Council of Women NZ, and I have a family of one husband and three children (ages 17-23). My life is “full and rich”, to use a term a friend came up with!
This blog contains my thoughts and reflections on an eclectic range of topics, none of which reflects the official position of any of the organisations I am involved in.
One extra thing: I have a chapter in this book, edited by Jean Rath and Carol Mutch, with chapters from doctoral students at Auckland University’s Faculty of Education on their varied doctoral journeys 🙂
